Aug 12, 2012 - I too love this song. I was fortunate to be the recording bassist in these sessions and was also involved in the development of this band...I remember the days at the 'MILL' smashing these tunes out with Cam, Steve and Wayne (the original line-up) plus with Michael visiting us with words of wisdom. And also how we all brainstormed ideas for the band name which is the surname of drummer Wayne Bourne combined with Melbourne, to be 'Born' and given life. Good times. Peace and Love.
Apr 18, 2012 - This song was written about cam's dog....I know he told me six years ago when the song was released...If u listen to the lyrics it makes sense
Aug 24, 2011 - I can't see how this song is about religion. Seems to me it's about love, and he's saying that for him, this person he loves is his own personal savior/Jesus/whatever. Otherwise why would he call this person his diamond and his angel? Those are not titles anyone would give to a god.
May 24, 2010 - Take whatever meaning you like guys, that's what music is all about. You'll be interested to know that the song is actually about a dog, nothing more and nothing less........
Jan 17, 2010 - So I've found that i've heard u're voice b4, n neva known who u r, Bourne u now have my full support i luv u're words, the strong instrumentals kick in the true emotions of what each song is about n that smooth, husky, voice just makes it feel so close to the heart.
