May 16, 2013 - Wraith was the best expansion and still is. Cata sucked though.

Apr 20, 2013 - I love this song. Makes me wanna go to live to a shack in a mountain in Norway, and become a lumberjack.

Apr 5, 2013 - Am I the only one that logs onto WoW and just runs around and listens to the music?

Mar 28, 2013 - I actually really enjoyed the expansions all the way up to wrath. Stopped playing at cata. I found wrath was my fav. i liked vanilla wow but wrath is where i came in my glory as a raid leader, so i felt the most accomplished in wrath. I really miss those good ole days. ICC was da bomb

Jan 19, 2013 - A lot of old players feel the same way about every expansion. A lot of us only liked vanilla.

Nov 4, 2012 - The first part brings me to tears, I can remind this great periode, from 2010 to mid-2011, I played Woltk on a private french server with friends I met on the internet (and then in real life), we were often complaining about all the bugs, but we had great time in Naxx, ICC and other short instances or raids, I loved to play as a healer, we had on mumble fun, laughs, everything... I tried to stay in Cata but they all stopped, and I found nothing good on Cata... Those were the days, miss them.

Oct 4, 2012 - When Arthus died wow died with him and ever since cataclysm came out things changed. the game lost its luster and wonderful lore

Matthew Lawrence Says:

Oct 4, 2012 - I remember when wotlk first came out...i was still a newbie at the time and was still getting used to the game and how it was supposed to be played...anyway i leveled my mage and made it to northrend through vengeance landing and the whole place of northrend amazed me. The music was amazing but this song from grizzlemaw and grizzly hills was the best. It was the best time during my days in azeroth and i will never forget the experience I encountered when i played!

Jul 25, 2012 - There is a book called World of Warcraft Sheet Music Anthology that you can purchase. It has a lot of wow music in it including this one =)

Jun 5, 2012 - This game has never had a specific peak - but more a personal peak. I personally feel like Cataclysm has been a great expansion so far, and this song is one of the things that keep Wrath of the Lich King in a dear place in my heart, I loved that expansion, as much as I loved Vanilla and Burning Crusade. I will agree with you Wrath was a good expansion because it created something massive, and brought back many of the old elements of Vanilla. Also Uldum isn't so bad man, be honest. :P

May 21, 2012 - ya i remember when wotlk was the main expansion and i was in my best friends guild. I always hung out at grizzlemaw and listened to the music..cataclysm came out and everything changed..the lore isnt as good..and the maps pretty much suck...i will always remember the good times when wow was at its best.

Feb 10, 2012 - god i miss wow the real wow it gone 4ever but still the music can make me remember all the good time we all had playing it wasting years of our life in the best video game ever

Jan 31, 2012 - 1:57 hit me like a ton of bricks. <3

Troggleboggle Says:

Jan 23, 2012 - The first two minutes hits me really hard. I was in a guild during the end of BC and all through WotLK. We were all pretty close. Anyway, when WotLK released we always and I mean ALWAYS hung out in Grizzly Hills and occasionally this song would play, it was nice. Since the first few months of Cataclysm they've all quit and my WoW experience has died pretty much. I never get attached to guilds or anything anymore. This song reminds me of the good times, the first bit at least. :)

Jan 15, 2012 - i was playing minecraft while listening to this and it started raining >.>

Nov 15, 2011 - Actually, that was supposed to be a response to Shmloop, LoL

redcloud527 Says:

Nov 15, 2011 - The psalmodikon looks like it MIGHT be the instrument you refer to. If you look at the city of Dalaran, the name itself could be derivative. Given the Nordic influences of the monsters, the Viking influences in architecture of the building in Northrend, I've no doubt you are spot on.

Marcus P. Says:

Nov 2, 2011 - Nyckelharpa. A "keyed fiddle".

mixuz91 Says:

Oct 26, 2011 - Actually, the part that starts 1:57 is probably inspired from an instrument used in Dalarna. Dalarna is a county in Sweden. Sounds exactly like that kind of music. :P Perhaps medwest american sounds the same, never heard it. But i immediately thought they used the intstrument i'm talking about, dont remember its name tho :/ Its kinda weird and complex to play. :) Maybe we both are right. :) Great piece of work tho, my favourite song.

MrMusAddict Says:
