Not to mention they weren't in an indefensible basement. So I don't see how this could be considered a rip off of Inglorious Basterds other than Fassbender was in both, it was a bar, and he had a gun at one point.

Jun 15, 2011 - I enjoyed the movie, however I had two real issues, besides the ones you already mentioned, Ryan. One: I don't like how they blatantly ignored not only the events of the third movie(yes, I remember how much it sucked), but also the way they presented the CIA guy as Colonel Striker, even though he was clearly older in this movie than in X2. Two: I got a real bad vibe of them intentionally stealing the "mexican standoff" scene from Inglourious Basterds in the scene with Fassbender in Argentina.

Jun 14, 2011 - Thank you, really. The fact that he was paralyzed, even when he was shown walking in the third movie, really pissed me off, i started to yell it out when i got out of the theater, it kinda ruined the movie for me, but i still enjoyed it.
