Sep 17, 2012 - I REMEMBER THIS MOVIE WHEN I SAW IT BACK AT DAROFF ELEMENTRY SCHOOL BACK IN 1984 WHEN MY THEN FORMER SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER PLAYED IT IN THE VCR WE ONCE HAD I REALLY LIKED THE LITTLE REDHEAD GIRL WHEN SHE'D TURNED AROUND & PUNCH THAT KID IN THE FACE AND NOW MANY YEARS LATER I DO NOT KNOW WERE THE YOUNG WOMAN WHO PLAYED THE ANNIE ROLE HAD WENT OR THE OTHERS WHO WERE IN THE MOVIE.
Jun 5, 2012 - This used to be my favorite movie when I was little! I used to watch it all the time on Video Casset at my Nans. This brings back so many happy memories! Haha :)
Dec 8, 2011 - I saw this at the age of 10 in theater with my grandma. It made me hope and dream, worry and cry, and smile and laugh. It really was a magical thing for me. I was abused as a child, and the story really and truly touched me. My grandma bought me the soundtrack and I played it over and over and learned every song by heart. To this day, I'm the only guy I know who can sing any song from Annie. This is a pure, innocent movie--one to love and one that I still treasure.
Sep 1, 2011 - Very different from the stage version...the TV movie is actually closer to it. In fact, they mention the real reazon he wanted a boy in that one. I think they changed the backstory in this one as Albert's British, and had him emmigrate to the US to find a job and support his family back in Liverpool when he was young. The original is something I won't give away, but it's pretty sentimental. :)
Jul 18, 2011 - When was younger and use to watch this movie...I didn't understand why the kidnapper and annie were claming up train tracks.......LOL! it took me a while to figure it out.

Jun 27, 2011 - It's a shame they rarely give this version on TV. I keep on coming across the 90s version whenever they give it.
