My wife and I just vacationed in Kentucky, and we ate at Colonel Sanders Cafe in Corbin, Kentucky, which was actually the first Kentucky Fried Chicken. Oh yes, Kentucky was beautiful. I did think they would know him, I know I ate Kentucky Fried Chicken in Delaware in the 50's, was sold at a Gino's restaurant.

Jun 7, 2013 - I'm 17 and I know who Colonel Sanders is without even watching. What's amazing to me is the fact that the name has changed from "Southern Fried Chicken Company" to "Kentucky Fried Chicken." so fast. This is a first for me considering I've never seen Colonel Sanders in person. I knew he was real though. People these days need to know who he is instead of a guy on a box.
