May 20, 2013 - Yeah she was a trailblazer that's fersure. But don't forget the one's who came before such as Heart and Pat Benatar and Stevie Nicks who got this path cleared first so that she could come along and uhm, do her thing. :)
May 20, 2013 - It's important for her career though, I think. She was doing this on the club circuit as early as 1979 in New York and it helped her to start gaining some recognition. "Word spread, and the rest is history." ;) There's even footage on Youtube of her performing it on-stage at a club in the city. It may have uh, needed some polish. lol!
Apr 15, 2013 - This song Everybody was the actual first single.Borderline was the first single that put her on the map internationally but this is the very first song she did,released in spring of 82,a year before her album release.
