May 4, 2013 - Tin is suppose to be real thin so might be played by Adrien Brody who was in the movies the Restaurant, The Pianist and newest version of King Kong.

hydrolito Says:

May 4, 2013 - Superman battles robots with limited shaping shifting in the cartoons in the 1940's and the Metal Men were in DC comics in the middle nineteen sixties before Transformers, Gobots, Volton, Power Rangers and Terminator 2 used similar ideas. So why shouldn't they make money on it instead of just the others?

otaha1988 Says:

Apr 2, 2013 - One she forgot tin and two there robots not cyborgs.they are all metal

Ben Giltz Says:

Mar 10, 2013 - I again would love to see all of DC"s characters brought to the big screen, maybe the Metal Men will open up a door to let the other characters to be developed for movies. As long as its not made into a ridiculous movie, not a comedy but sci fi! I loved the Metal Men growing up and would love to see them for a new generation!

Mar 10, 2013 - Yes, Yes !! Of all DC, this was a childhood favorite and at one time owned all issues and also the 4 Showcase origin issues. I can't wait. On full geek out alert ! Doh !

Feb 11, 2013 - Poor old Tin. Too shit to get a mention. I recommend he's played by Toby Mcguire

Jan 27, 2013 - yes I would like to see that movie if it comes out :)

Ben Giltz Says:

Jan 7, 2013 - I have waited along time for the Metal Men to be brought to life. They would fight along side of Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman etc. But they were superior in everyway! Would love to see them!

Rhoan Mak Says:

Dec 30, 2012 - brenowitz i won't apologize for what i said it's true there's just not enough interest in the the metal men they've never caught on a critical number of people to warrant a good cartoon much less a live action movie. Its hard enough trying to get Wonder Woman on the big screen much less something so far down the tent pole as metal man.

brenowitz1 Says:

Dec 25, 2012 - No No No..... obviously, characters YOU don't give a darn about. Fair enough. As far as "people" goes, unless you're the president or god.... speak for yourself.

brenowitz1 Says:

Dec 25, 2012 - effen yea!! Metal Men were it for me.

Solitaire001 Says:

Dec 18, 2012 - Not just unique abilities, but also strong and interesting personalities. One of the things that made the team interesting (much like with the Fantastic Four) is that the members often didn't get along due to clashing personalities (especially with Mercury).

Solitaire001 Says:

Dec 18, 2012 - I think it will depend on how the Metal Men written (it should be a combination of action and humor), and based on what he's done before, I think this director could make it work. Considering that the Metal Men were literally created over a weekend and intended to be used only one time (they were destroyed at the end of their first appearance), the fact that they are still around and still occasionally used after nearly 50 years says something about the characters.

kclex7 Says:

Sep 24, 2012 - i'm still waiting for DC to adapt their coolest superhero on the big screen,... Matter Eater Lad LOL

uhltron Says:

Sep 16, 2012 - Why are they doing that? Some kind of experiment?

TheDemon2882 Says:

Sep 4, 2012 - ssoooooo, they're making a metal men movie, a movie bout comic characters no one knows jack about, instead of making a movie for flash or wonder woman, and do what marvel did, and piece together the Justice League movie continuity wow, fuck you warner bros, fuck you

Zachary Love Says:

Jul 31, 2012 - I'd see it, but it sounds like a kids movie.

wallace bruce Says:

Jul 26, 2012 - 'Metal Men' rock harder than ozzy ozborn

kayokango Says:

Jul 24, 2012 - sheesh! I can't believe the amount of hate directed at the Metal Men in the comments here. They're actually one of the most imaginative and entertaining(if not THE most)superhero teams ever made. I'd take them over the overused company mascots any day.

BBmetalhead04 Says:

Jul 23, 2012 - I think the reason might be that if the movie does flop, no one will be really offended that the movie didn't do the Metal Men justice. If it does well, then more power to DC. Really I don't think DC will those any ground in their film adaptations by doing this movie, unlike the fiasco that was Green Lantern.

BaRd3L2 Says:

Jul 5, 2012 - what is it then? and the batman movies are not comic book movies they are more like detective movies or dramas with batman. theyre not fun to watch i just find myself turning it off 20 minutes in.

r7diego Says:

Jul 5, 2012 - its simple, i catch it, in fact i know it, i read the comics, it's more a kids movies (don't get me wrong, i love the movie) but Batman is more an "adult" movie

EpIcGeAr21 Says:

Jul 5, 2012 - both good movies

huybui1990 Says:

Jul 1, 2012 - LoL, i don't even know what the fuck is Metal Men. DC need to set Justice league movie in motion and stop wasting their time with crappy superheroes that no one know about. Since green lantern is the box office flop, their are no way metal men going to perform any better.
