I spent 3 months in London 10 years ago, but we did get out to the countryside - saw both Stonehenge and Avebury and the small towns and such in between, including at least a couple of the white horses and the rather misty and mysterious Wiltshire Plain (it was a chilly March day when we were there). I'd go back in a heartbeat and see even more!
