Andrew Riley Says:

May 21, 2013 - I don't think you understand the music you seem to be insulting. I like rock music as much as the next guy, but thinking music has to be only about having fun and parting, well, maybe you should go and listen to Kesha. That's what her music is about.

Danksmoke Bong Says:

May 21, 2013 - you can hear a little bit of ACDC influence in the riff.

May 19, 2013 - Kurt Cobain killing himself made perfect sense --- grunge music is designed for suicide

VegitoVai90 Says:

May 18, 2013 - You need to keep in mind that there was no internet (for the most part) back then, and so music was one of the only modes of youth culture. Also, all they had was MTV and radio, so what they were exposed to was a lot more limited. This is why hairmetal became so hated - because it was everywhere and it essentially became pop music. Nirvana caught everyone (who wasn't into the Pixies or Soundgarden) off guard and breathed new life into rock music. Without it, rap would've taken over far quicker.

Metalhead3935 Says:

May 18, 2013 - I wasn't around when it happened man, so I can't judge it by its originality and how fresh it was. I'm sure if you were sick of the hairbands in that time Nirvana would've been cool, but for me they just don't happen.

VegitoVai90 Says:

May 18, 2013 - Well maybe what came after them, but you have to admit those few years when Seattle first got big were pretty exciting. Before Kurt killed himself and Pearl Jam came out as so ridiculously anti-success around '94, that shit was such a breath of fresh air. The hairbands of the late 80's were all copying each other and getting so watered down - party rock in 1990 wasn't nearly as good as it was in 1985. Shit, even GnR and Metallica fucked up with Use Your Illusion and the Black Album.

Tsubasa Honda Says:

May 18, 2013 - Gran Turismo 4 :3

Metalhead3935 Says:

May 18, 2013 - Exactly, I've never understood why anyone wants to celebrate being depressed by listening to boring drone music to make you even more depressed. When I feel down I listen to music to try and help me feel better, and Van Halen never fails. Not being a pussy and forgetting about it helps too though ;)

flashbang2101 Says:

May 18, 2013 - Bingo ! This is when rock was about partying and having fun .Not staring at your naval contemplating how depressed you are . Get over it . This song will help .

Metalhead3935 Says:

May 18, 2013 - I wish Nirvana never came along, fuck Grunge was boring.

VegitoVai90 Says:

May 18, 2013 - Yeah it would seem that way, until Guns N Roses came along, and then until Nirvana came along. Nothing really after Nirvana though...

Metalhead3935 Says:

May 18, 2013 - Van Halen was the model for all those bands.

TheMajik07 Says:

May 17, 2013 - LOL! Yeah, it sure is funny to think of what was considered cool back then!

jason75 Says:
