May 4, 2011 - hate when that happens. people often mistake enthusiasm for good if not well known music as elitism, when really you just wanna share something good. i get that all the time.
Feb 9, 2011 - When I would show people Caribou's work several years ago they were totally unresponsive. Now that they're fairly popular, people are like, 'Oooh! Caribou!'
I'm not trying to be like, 'zomg i heard it first!' What I'm saying is that most people listen to music for strange reasons. If you give them a great, unpopular artist they will usually not listen to it with the same level of interest.
